More Email Paranoia

Wired News reports on another reason to make sure your email program doesn’t allow scripting: the possibility of email “wiretapping”. Here’s the Privacy Foundation advisory that started the hubbub. There are a million other articles out there, but they’re all just rehashes of the Privacy Foundation’s material, so I won’t bother linking to them. I especially like how Wired News allowed Richard Sexton to use their article as a soapbox for his opinions about HTML email, which isn’t exactly the issue here.
