This Washington Post article talks about the decline of college enrollments in computer science since the dot-com crash. Hopefully this just means that now people are enrolling in CS because they’re interested in it, not because it’s the in thing.

Some enterprising geeks, including myself, have just opened SlashNOT.com, a satirical look at the world of technology. We’re only about four years late. In other news, one of the sites I always loved and stole the idea from, SatireWire, is apparently closing down. It will be missed.
