This article at InternetNews touts RSS as “the answer to the Spam crisis” and talks about how Email newsletters are switching to RSS syndication. It seems to me they’re basically saying “Not using email is the answer to the Spam crisis,” and maybe it is – or rather, maybe email should focus on personal communication while the newsletters stay out. I don’t see this taking off until an RSS aggregator goes mainstream.
